Opening Ceremonies – Bentley Sports Complex

Wednesday July 6th

4:30pm – 5:30pm

Teams should begin arriving at the complex around 4:00pm. 

As soon as your team arrives, in their uniforms, they will need to go by the photographer booth and have their team photo taken.  THIS IS MANDATORY!  

Once you have done this, 10U teams will need to proceed to the outfield fence on Field 6. 

12U teams will need to proceed to the outfield fence on Field 1.

Once everyone is lined up, as your team is announced they will need to walk to the infield where the photographer will help place you in the correct spot.  Once all the teams have been introduced, the photographer will take a group photo.  The Speaker will then address the audience and then the teams will be asked to move to the sides of the field while the skydivers enter.  Once they have landed we will have the National Anthem and the Ceremonial First Pitch and then teams will be dismissed to begin participating in the skills contests.  Teams are welcome to trade pins at any time during the opening ceremonies, skills contests and social.  Pin trading will also continue throughout the week during the Series.  Be sure to get your Official Tournament Pin Towels at the Souvenir stand. 

Feel free to carry a team banner if you would like during the Parade of Teams.
